The production process takes place in Italy in facilities that are certified according to ISO 22716. Every stage, from adding the natural ingredients to achieving the finished product, is constantly monitored to ensure that the entire supply chain meets the highest quality standards. Each product undergoes rigorous sensory analysis and dermatological tests for tolerance and efficacy before being launched onto the market.
We have a strict policy of never using parabens, silicones, dyes, petrochemical derivatives, irritants or other agents that are harmful to the environment in any of our formulas. In accordance with the European Cosmetics Regulation, none of our products are tested on animals.

We recognise the importance of the circular economy, and are committed to minimising waste from the pruning of vines and olive trees, from which we extract highly effective phytocompounds. As well as plant extracts, the water contained in our products is also a precious gift from the land: from the ancient glacier of the Adamello mountain range. A biologically pure water that maintains the skin’s delicate balance and, thanks to the high concentration of minerals and trace elements, ensures that all our skincare formulations provide significant benefits.

Lemon extract is blended with a bioactive compound of encapsulated salicylic acid and niacinamide to obtain a powerful cleansing action.
Peach extract is blended with an innovative, highly-effective, moisturising, protective ‘microbiome-friendly’ compound.
The grape leaf extract adds antioxidant power to a super-hydrating formula of 5 molecular weights of hyaluronic acid.
Olive leaf extract adds a wealth of phenolic compounds to a blend of plant oils packed with age-defying properties.

The main objective of our Research and Development Department, including our team of experts and consultants is to ensure maximum environmental sustainability, while at the same time creating reliable, safe and attractive products that are guaranteed to remain highly effective over time, something we are proud of.
Alongside our phytoextracts, which pursue a kilometre-zero philosophy, agricultural waste valorisation and the circular economy, we use dermoaffinic raw materials, preferably derived from nature, as well as green technology.
All the ingredients used in Secretum Gardae’s range, not only have excellent ‘upstream’ emission levels (according to strict green chemistry criteria), but also have a positive impact on ‘downstream’ emissions as they are readily biodegradable. An example of this is our innovative complex of 5 molecular-weights of hyaluronic acid: a biotechnological active ingredient produced in the laboratory by fermentation.
Our sustainable formulations go hand in hand with our sustainable production processes, which aim to save energy by favouring cold processing.
